Here is another prestigious accolade for Piccolo Arancio. The Roman Foodie, a travel blog for those visiting Rome and Italy in search of authentic and genuine food, has compiled a list of the 4 best places to eat near the Trevi Fountain and has included our restaurant among them.
As The Roman Foodie explains, unfortunately, where there are tourists there are also tourist traps, so you have to be careful and look for ‘hidden gems’ as the most authentic restaurants in Rome are very unlikely to surround the Trevi Fountain. In selecting the best restaurants The Roman Foodie takes four aspects into account: food, value for money, ambience and service.
Here is what they say about our restaurant: If you are looking for something to eat ‘al fresco’ and a warm Italian atmosphere, you should consider Piccolo Arancio. It has a few tables outside and a larger dining room inside. They make almost all their pasta in house and serve typical Italian-Mediterranean cuisine. Meat, fish and pasta all served in a nice atmosphere with great service. If you have a few extra euros to spend, try the ‘Linguine all’astice’, which is pasta with lobster. So good.
