An amazing dinner with the most delicious meat in town!! Must visit while in Rome!
Ps. Vegetarian dishes are very good as well.
Excellent food and wine, and service. Beautifully presented and creative. Zucchini flower pasta with mint; scallop risotto and pasta with rocket and pistachio.
Exciting to eat.
We had dinner in this restaurant and it was very nice and also the service is great. We ordred mussles and we found it a bit salty (but we were fine with it) but the owner insisted to deducte it from the invoice though we didnt ask to. The ravioli is really excellent.
Best restaurant I've eaten at in Rome. The staff are so gracious and the food tastes amazing! I recommend reservations as later in the evening (dinner time) there are always people waiting. However the staff never seems to rush anyone. Just delightful!!!
We ordered mussel sailor style, spaghetti with lobster and spaghetti with shrimp. We loved all three specially the sauce of the mussel dish. We have tiramisu for dessert and spritz for drink.....delicious!
Arrived to the restaurant due to recommendation. Fried artichoke was very good, soup was ok, pasta was just delicious, so fresh and extremely tasty but the most exciting dish was the perfect Italian tiramisu, it was the best I ever ate.
Don’t miss this restaurant !
This place was AMAZING. The food was delicious, the wine was tasty and the prices were great. It was 8 euro for a half liter of wine which was about 5 glasses. The staff was friendly, Matteo and Tarik took great care of my parents and I. The place is a little small and tables are close together, I would recommend making a reservation. The fettucine with salmon cream sauce, eggplant parmesan and pasta with eggplant and tomato sauce is what my family got. To quote my father, "the tomato sauce bordered on spectacular." It was in a quiet little alleyway but close to main streets with shops and a great gelato spot. The prices were great for the amount you got. I would highly recommend this place and I thank Piccolo Arancio for a memorable dining experience in Rome.
During our 3 night stay in Rome we ate here one lunchtime and one evening. Both experiences were good but I recommend the Piccolo Arancio for an evening more, but book or arrive early because it is very popular. Thoroughly recommend the Carborna and the house white wine. Slightly surly waiter but stangely felt more of a genuine Italian experience because of this! Try it.
